One year and going strong...

Hi all,


I just realized that it has been one year since I launched this blog!!! Boy, how time flies by! Within the year, a lot has happened....I had improved my baking skills, got some orders, got a Facebook fan site and then finally...launched Chi-cakes website!!!!! WOW!


All I can say is that I'm really happy how Chi-cakes has blossom. Now I only hope for better success and....my dreams coming true one of these days! BUT, most importantly....I would like to thank all my friends and family for their love and support .  For believing in my products and in ME! Without them, Chi-cakes would not be where it is today! So, THANK YOU!

Flower Bouquet


Made this beautiful edible flowers for my mom for Valentine's day this year....something different instead of the typical flowers that won't leave an everlasting mark. The cupcakes are: Lemon and Pandan Chiffon cupcakes topped with pink whipped cream Roses and violet whipped cream Hydrangeas....

Lemon Chiffon Cupcake w/ Lemon Whipped Cream Frosting






A customer wanted a tart cupcake....so here it is....lemon chiffon cupcake with lemon whipped cream frosting.  The cupcake was so light and fluffy and the lemon whipped cream with its tartness just added the perfect touch! I also loved how one can see the little lemon speckles of lemon zest on the frosting!

The Gigantic Cupcake!


A client requested this big enormous cupcake! It was a big chocolate banana cupcake frosted with tons of peanut butter frosting.  Then it was topped off with chocolate sprinkles and mini PB cups! Happy eating!
