Oreo Cookies Cupcakes
These cupcakes were made because there were extra cake mixes after I made the ice cream cake cones. I used up all the frosting and so it was just a plain cupcake. I personally liked the way it turned out and it was sooo easy to make it. Kinda looked like muffins instead of cupcakes without the frosting. I will probably make some more soon since I thought they were pretty good and different. Next time for sure with some frostings......- Thanks Rico for lending me your hand as my cupcake model....=).

So I had your Oreo cupcakes yesterday and I forgot to comment on your blog about them. I was a little hesitant at first because I wasn’t a fan of the Oreo “Cheesecake Cupcakes” you had made. However, for your Oreo Cupcakes it seems like you crushed the Oreo cookie up into really small pieces and mixed it in with the batter instead of just leaving an entire Oreo cookie at the bottom of the cupcake and baking them. They were actually REALLY good. If you had not told me that it was an “Oreo cupcake” I would have thought it was some sort of fancy chocolate chip cupcake. Whenever I bit into a baked Oreo piece, it tasted more like biting into a piece of chocolate than an Oreo cookie. It didn’t really taste like an unbaked Oreo cookie piece at all. It’s difficult to describe, it had a very unique taste. Be that as it may, for TASTE I give them a 9 (if you would have put some of your delicious frosting on them, they would have been a 10!) For APPEARANCE: I have to give them a 5. I’m used to the cupcakes you make with the delicious cream cheese frosting spread, accented with the little fruit on top. This one had no toppings at all. :o( For TEXTURE I would give the cupcake a 9. However, if it would have had some cream cheese frosting on the top, I would have given them a 10. Hmm, are you seeing a pattern here? You can’t just bring in cupcakes with yummy cream cheese frosting one day and then the next pull the rug out from under us! Hello!!!!???
ReplyDeleteI know....I know....my fault for not giving you any frostings. But like I said....I ran out after making the ice cream cake cones. I didn't want to waste these great cupcakes...so I had no choice but to give it to you plain and simple. Don't be a hater.....I will make it up to you!!!! More interesting stuff is coming soon......stayed tuned!
